Bloodwood Pinot Noir is very sensitive and is the most responsive of all our grapes to varying weather conditions. Each year’s climate yields a slightly different emphasis, flavour profile and mouth-feel; however, all have or develop a distinctive Pinosity. Ours is of a lady’s old handbag; a bit of perfume, lipstick and worn leather.
Our Pinot is richer than the lightweight pretty style but not as rich as Central Otago NZ. Check these differences out and see if they are just right for you.
