Mr Halliday's Review
Glowing green-gold; a Pinot Noir/Chardonnay that was disgorged in Dec’10, the extra time on lees resulting in very fine and persistent mousse: zesty and lively flavours ripple through the palate and onto the long, balanced palate.
Crown seal.

An aromatic ooze of Pinot Noir in the bouquet and palate builds texture and richness to this classic dry sparkling wine while 36 months spent on lees in this bottle prior to disgorgement in December 2010 asdds a layered brioche like yeast complexity to the underlying bright Chardonnay crisp apple and pear characters so typical of this style's persistent refreshing acidity.
